[vet-mm] scripting nightmare

I think it's a CS4 document - I couldn't open it. If you send me a CS3 version, I will have a look at it if it's in AS2, but I don't know AS3. I'm home sick, so the brain is not working so well but I have plenty of time on my hands for a change,

Just wondering if somebody might rescue me from confusion.
Ahhhhh actionscript!
 
I can not help my student. His skydiver jumps out of a plane and then the user controls his fall. The sky diver must not hit the hill. When he does he should die. Matt, my student, can not get his code to work so that the diver can go up and down with the hill. It either registers too early and in squares or not at all. Can somebody pleeeeeeeeeeeze take a look at it for me? I feel so bloody useless when the code gets too complex!
