[vet-mm] VCE VET IDM - see attached!!

Argh.  I wonder how this will be examinable - we only have 6 machines with Premiere Pro on them.
 
At first glance, the Cert II pathway and the 1/2 + 3/4 pathway don't *quite* match.  I think I might teach the common units first in the Year 11 sequence, then split off the two pathways after subject choices are made.  I need to look more in depth at it, but these subjects seem to overlap so I might be able to teach the thing but have two different assessment tasks:
 

		BSBCRT301A Develop and extend critical and creative thinking skills 40 and BSBCRT101A Apply critical thinking techniques 20

		CUFIND201A Develop and apply creative arts industry knowledge 20 and CUFIND301A Work effectively in the screen and media industries 20

		BSBOHS201A Participate in OHS processes* 20 and BSBOHS201A Participate in OHS processes 20

Which means the only completely unnecessary thing for the Year 11 only students that I need to cover is: CUFDIG303A Produce and prepare photo images 20... but they love that anyway, so I don't think the kids who drop out after one year will complain too much.

Anyway, so this is how my program is shaping up, to allow for maximum flexibility for students.

 

Cert II - Year 11
BSBCRT101A Apply critical thinking techniques 20

CUFIND201A Develop and apply creative arts industry knowledge 20

BSBOHS201A Participate in OHS processes* 20

BSBWOR203A Work effectively with others 15

2 Specialists:

CUFDIG201A Maintain interactive content* 30

CUFRES201A content for broadcast or publication* 20

2 Electives:

BSBDES201A Follow a design process* 40

HLTFA201A Provide basic emergency life support 8  (Weird one, I know, but since the students are required to complete this as part of their bronze medallion and have already been assessed, I should be able to recognise their competency)
