Now that senior students have left and reports are hopefully nearly
finished, I want to remind you that PixelEd is holding our 2007
Conference and Gear Up Day
13th and 14th December

The Gear Up Day on the 13th December is designed to assist you in
preparing for teaching VET next year.  The morning is geared toward
Certificate II and after a scrumptious lunch we will be launching into
Certificate III.  Run by successful and experienced VET teachers, this
day is ideal for both new and returning Multimedia Teachers.

Experience some of the best Multimedia has to offer at the conference on
the 14th December.  A variety of presentations, including hands-on
sessions, will take you through the competencies.  You could learn how
to create 3D effects in Flash, master the actionscript behind a slot
machine in Flash, get a handle on using CSS, design amazing characters,
and more!  Make sure you get your preferences in early, especially for
the practical sessions - these are sure to sell fast.

You may attend either or both days, or even just the mornin! ! g or the
