Also, I will not be renominating as President so if you feel a bit
presidential then give it a shot.  

Great events like the Industry Dinner can't happen unless dedicated
people organise them.  It's not that hard and doesn't take up that much
time.  You don't have to be the most skilled in Multimedia. We have
regular meetings once a month at the pub in Clifton Hill which is a
great time to network and I have found that my time spent chatting with
the wonderful people on the committee is the best PD I have ever done.
We swap ideas for classes and share new techniques.  AND being a
committee member for your teaching association looks fabulous on your
CV.  

Go on! Have a go!
