Hi Luke,
I teach a subject called Digital Media (should really be Digital Art!)
which is all about making artworks on a computer. We use Corel
PhotoPaint and Draw but next year we are getting the Adobe Suite of
programs across the school, so we will probably go to that. The course
is about concepts anyway, so software doesn't really matter.
I have just written an article about the course which appeared in
Education Technology Solutions Magazine (which most schools probably get
anyway).
I will get a course outline for you, (when I have a minute) and if you
want a CD of some student work examples let me know...
Cheers,

Subject: [vet-mm] RE: year 9 multimedia elective
Dear list members,
Thank you for all your contributions over the year. As a first time
multimedia teacher in a small country school I have really benefited
from all the great tips and information.
Next year I am teaching Cert III Multimedia for the first time (looking
forward to the gear up day next year) and I am also teaching a Year 9/10
multimedia elective at the same time. One of the compromises of small
schools is combined classes and teaching across multiple subjects.
The elective for semester one is "digital imaging" if anyone out there
has any course outlines or other resources they are prepared to share I
would be very grateful.
Kind regards,
Luke Molan
