Hi Jimmy,
another thing I would recommend is the PD on Actionscript on Saturday May 12=
th, unless you are already pretty familiar with it. You will need to teach=
scripting, and most schools use Flash Actionscript, though you can do JavaS=
cript or Lingo (Director). Tell Paul Rose that I said you had to come.
Also, QATs. Ana Tuckerman and Sue Bell, who are on the PixelEd committee, we=
re instrumental in writing them. They will be at the dinner next Thursday an=
d I am sure they would be happy to discuss them with you there - or by emai=
l.
Good luck,
Marian Stoney

Hi all,
I am new to all this, 2nd year out and my school not only the school has giv=
en me the subjects I applied for which was Multimedia y11 and y12 but decide=
d to give me Media y11 and y12 too. I am a Visual Arts person - teacher so I=
am a little out of my depth. More than a little I would say.
I would dearly love some assistance on Cert III VET - as I believe I might h=
ave a handle on Cert II VET as I am teaching the course structure of another=
teacher course outline who has taught the same subject last year.
I see as per below by Paul and Michelle who are using QATS for 3&4 I have he=
ard of this course structure through a Media teacher friend. Can I get some=
more information on this? If I have to buy something for the school then I=
will.
I also would dearly like to know any of some PD's going.
I am from Ballarat Secondary College - Barkly Street - Senior Campus.
Ta Jimmy

I had no idea we had to validate our assessments. How do we do this and
where?
I'm in the same position as Michelle, using the QATS in 3+4 and my own
tasks in 1+2.

Subject: Assessment Validation
Hi Folks,
Because of the new Quality Assurance guidelines, apparently I need to
get my assessments for Multimedia validated again. Would anyone mind me
mailing them some copies and a small form to sign? We use the QAT tasks
in Cert III and my own assessments in Cert II.
Thanks!
