I believe this is the link to Greg Bowden's Flash tutorials mentioned earlier by Zach (I think?)
They are for purchase but sample pages can be downloaded. 
I haven't used them, so can't comment but I like and have used the IT Practice textbooks co-authoured by Greg. (for my junior IT classes not Multimedia)
