Thankyou to everyone who has responded to my questions. 

I have read the definitions from wikipedia.org, and it is a terrific
reference. I understand OOP a lot better than this morning! 

>From what I have read and from what list members have written, I dont
feel as worried about the information that I have given my year 12
students. I worry about the exam more than they do I think, and chances
are that I have over loaded them with too much info anyway!
