[vet-it] VITTA - VET Day 2008 - expressions of interest

Hi all

VITTA are discussing offering a discreet VET day in 2008, run on a different day to the VCE day. This year (9/3) they were run together.

The idea is to run a full day's PD, probably in early March,roughly structured as follows:

AM - VET for newbies: what, how, why, support, problems etc.
AM - VET assessments: Darrel Sutton from VCAA has indicated his interest in presenting
PM - several concurrent sessions, covering: wikis, competencies, assessment task preparation

We've discussed doing one day in the Western suburbs and one in the Eastern.

Can I get your comments please on:
would you be interested in attending?
what issues would you like covered?
would you prefer one session offered centrally or one in the East and one in the West?
