[vet-it] work experience

Hi Paul,
Yes I have taught both Units 1/2 and 3/4 in the same class before. I did not
get any time allowance, as we are a small school. You will need to be
organised though!!! I found that the Unit 3/4 students were more capable of
going on with work with out teacher instruction, as they are familiar with
the how the course runs. I spent more time with Unit 1/2 students to get
them going. You will find that when they are working on tasks, you should
still have plenty of time to walk around and assist all students equally.

Hope this helps in any way.

Dear Colleagues,

I have been asked to teach a combined year 11 and 12 VET IT class next year.

Has anyone taught a combined class before?
If so, was it successful and did you get any time allowance for it?

Thanking you in advance
