Hi Katie

It's just the IT course that is changing, not the Multimedia one. As I
understand it, students currently enrolled in the existing course i.e. Year
11's, will continue with the existing course into year 12. New students to
the course will enrol in the new course next year, and will do the new exam
when they reach year 12, which for most students will be 2008, unless
schools and students are completing the whole certificate in one year.

As VCAA hasn't released the new program booklet for the new course yet, I
don't think there has been any advice released about the exam, or which
units will be covered in it.

Hi Listers,

this is the first i have heard about the new multimedia couse in 2007!
Does this mean that the exam will possibly be based on different modules?
and do the current year 11's do the new couce or the old one?
I am handing out a project tomorrow for the 11's to make a web site about
the year 12 copmetencies ,so would appreciate any feedback asap.
