[vet-it] Query on VET and software applications

Hello everyone
As usual, I’m asking an ‘off topic’ question – we are considering
introducing VET IT (and have been for about three years but that’s another
story). If we introduce the Software Applications stream, is there a list of
‘prescribed’ software that must be studied or are we able to decide on a
variety of software of our choice? Or if we go for the General stream, is it
‘meaty’ enough for the students?

Any comments, suggestions, ideas would be most appreciated.
