I teach Network Administration and I was not as impressed with the exam.

I was particularly disappointed with the multiple choice questions

Section A

            Q 3

Q 11

Q 13 - The most obvious thing to do if you are editing a document (in
word I presume) would be to save to your own hard drive until the
network came back up. Not an option

Q 18 I could easily mount a case for either a PDA or Memory stick
given different parameters

Section B

            Q 19 - Rapid Transfer Setup cost - not something that I
have discussed with my students,
Most of my students knew what shaping was, but
again we had not discussed it.

Q 14 B Virtual machine - As soon as I said emulator my
students knew what the question meant, but again we had not specifically
covered it.

I used to take as a good rule of thumb if its not in 'Essentials of IT,
it won't be on the exam, plus any definition are taken as those in
Essential of IT.

I suppose I shouldn't whinge as I did not put my hand up to be on the
Exam Setting Panel, thankyou for those that did.

In my uninformed opinion, it did not suit the Network Administration
course as well as it may have suited Software or General.
