Hi Lesley,

I haven't done answers yet. But if you are referring to Section B in the exam I would answer it as follows:

Easily installed and configured by following screen prompts means
      a. minimal user intervention during install. That is, run setup and sit back.
      b. little in the way of user decision making eg. no customising, no manual progression through screens etc.
      c. No changing desktop configuration eg. screen resolution, swap file ( virtual memory ) size, etc etc.

An example of configuration would be changing swap file size , perhaps the location of the drive to install into, perhaps manually setting the port a hardware device is plugged into rather than the software autodetecting the port.

 Hope this helps

Kevork

Thanks for all the support that these lists provide.

I'm not very confident with a lot of the VET IT Cert III content and have a year 12 class this year. VCAA hasn't yet published the answers to the 2004 VET IT exam. Has anyone done a set of answers that they could share?

I'm particularly interested in the answer to question 15 re an example of configuring.

Any help gratefully accepted!
