Ross,

Try installing the latest Windows media player on one of the machines. The install for WMP 10 is downloadable (a self-extracting exe) - a rather large 12.1 Mb. Your students would no doubt be unable to browse to drive C, so put wmp.dll somewhere accessible for them when they want to add the player to their toolbox.

regards,

	Dear Anyone,

I am attempting to get my students to add a Windows Media Player component to a form in Visual Basic so as to run background music. We have coded everything but when we debug we get the following error.......

An unhandled exception of type 'System.Security.SecurityException' occurred in whackem'.exe

Also, one student recieved a message that Windows Media Player needs to be registered!!

Any ideas where to go from here?

	Regards
