VCE PD&T SAT Folio Workshop for Students

Do you want to give your VCE PD&T students the best head start for the year ahead? DATTA Vic are running two SAT Folio Workshops to do just that!:

via Polycom, (http://www.datta.vic.edu.au/content/pl16001-vce-pdt-sat-folio-student-workshop-polycom) 1.30pm - 3.30pm on the 12th Feb.
In Carlton (http://www.datta.vic.edu.au/content/pl16003-vce-pdt-sat-folio-workshop-students) , 1.30pm  - 3.30pm on the 22nd Feb

These session will provide students with a full understanding of the Folio requirements for the School-Assessed Task.

Lots of engaging, hands-on activities will strengthen their knowledge of design briefs, evaluation criteria, approaches to research, and much, much more!

The VCAA are running several information sessions for Technologies teachers;
School-assessed task professional learning sessions for Technology studies
Professional learning sessions for School-assessed Tasks will be held during February 2016. These full-day sessions are designed to provide teachers with a clear understanding of how to apply the assessment criteria and descriptors for the School-assessed Task in the relevant study.
*          Tuesday 9 February – Product Design and Technology
*          Thursday 18 February – Systems Engineering


There are also after-school webinars organised for both studies as well.
*          Thursday 11 February – Product Design and Technology
*          Tuesday 23 February – Systems Engineering


Parade College will be hosting an information session on the emerging curriculum on the 24th February.
