[Textiles and Technology] Invitation - Vintage Inspired Fashion and Accessories Runway Show

The Australian Academy of Design would like to invite textile and technology
teachers to attend the ³finissage² event of the ³Zeitgeist Becomes Form²
exhibition, a vintage inspired fashion and accessories runway show on Friday
12th November at 6.00pm at the Australian Academy of Design, 220 Ingles
Street, Port Melbourne.  The event is part of the Berlin Dayz
German-Australian Arts Festival.

This event will feature an accessories show from the era¹s inspired by the
photographs on display and will be followed by a student fashion runway
event ³Fashion in Film².

The Academy¹s current exhibition ³Zeitgeist Becomes Form² featured on the
ABC¹s Art Nation on Sunday the 31st October. The segment featured Elli
Ioannou, fashion photographer and Photomedia Coordinator at the Academy and
Gallery Manager, Malcolm Thomson.  A link to the programme is below.

This is the last time that ³Zeitgeist Becomes Form² will be hung in its
entirety before returning to Europe on the 13th November.  We hope you can
