VCE study reviews in 2010
Major review
Design and Technology, English Language, Industry and Enterprise,
International Politics
(National Politics and International Studies),Outdoor and Environmental
Studies, Sociology
The accreditation period for Design and Technology, English Language,
Industry and Enterprise, International Politics
(National Politics and International Studies), Outdoor and Environmental
Studies and Sociology ends on 31 December
2011. These VCE studies will undergo a major review during 2010.
Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified persons to
participate in the curriculum review, evaluation
and development process for revised study designs for these studies.
Review Panels typically consist of 8-10 members from
schools, universities, training, industry and business sectors who are
appointed according to their expertise and capacity to
contribute to the review process.
The membership for the Design and Technology, English Language, Industry
and Enterprise, International Politics
(National Politics and International Studies), Outdoor and Environmental
Studies and Sociology Review Panels will
be prepared from the expressions of interest received. All applicants
will be advised of the outcome of the nomination
and approval process.
Panel meetings are held at the VCAA office in East Melbourne. Applicants
should familiarise themselves with
the Principles and guidelines for the development and review of VCE
studies document, published as Supplement 1 to the
March 2009 VCAA Bulletin VCE, VCAL and VET No. 68 and available on the

Expressions of interest* can be lodged through the VCAA Sessional Staff
Management System (SSMS) (see page 8)
via <www.ssms.vic.edu.au>. The SSMS website accepts and processes
applications for sessional work. For technical support
