Hi Jordie. In the vnc server  doco, there are some parameters you can
use to grey out the "Stop VNC server" so essentially, no one can touch
it. Eg 

 

AllowShutdown 
If this is set to zero, the user is not allowed to close down WinVNC.
Local per-user setting. 

AllowProperties 
If this is set to zero, the user is not allowed to view the properties
dialog and hence cannot change any settings, including the password.
Note that this stops all global per-user settings. A valid password must
therefore be in force before using this setting, generally in the local
default-user setting.  Local per-user setting.

Hi there guys, last one hopefully this year. Is there such a way to stop
students from accessing vnc in the task bar and selecting Stop VNC
server.

 

And also stopping them from killing it in the task manager. (spose I
could just disable it in gp)
