we use a student from year 12 last year on an hourly rate of $10. I know it's not much but we too have needed the extra pair of hands.

Please forgive cross-posts.

We are exploring the idea of employing additional Computer Lab
Technician  time on a part-time basis. At times there may be a whole lot
of work to do (like now...) and in other weeks much less (dream on...)

My problem is that I have absolutely no idea as to what are the going
rates.

Any suggestions?
