At the backend, maybe.
But then, the same could be said for dumping content from one content
management system SQL backend to another. It doesn't help your users who have
become familiar with one or tother, unless you're telling me that WebCT and
Blackboard look, work and are administered in the same way.

Competition is good ;-) Even in the open source sphere. No one applications
suits all needs, no matter how good that one application is.
