Subject: [Trivia]School girl folds paper
No, it isn't the most trivial email yet sent to the Trivia mailing list.
High school student Britney Gallivan shattered the world record and proved
conventional wisdom wrong by folding a single sheet of paper an amazing
twelve times. Before Britney's attempt, nobody had exceeded eight folds, a
piddling two and a half centimetres, which was widely accepted as the
ultimate limit to paper folding.
Assuming a paper thickness of 0.1mm, after twelve folds the paper would be
almost 41cm thick, about the height of a minitower PC.
