[Systems Engineering Teachers' Mailing List] School needs help after devastating loss of Systems teacher

Morning everyone. I'm afraid this is a very sad email. We just heard this morning that the Systems Engineering teacher at Damascus College in Ballarat unexpectedly passed away at the weekend. We're so sorry to those of you who knew him. The school community is devastated, but obviously also very worried about the impact on their Systems students.


They are hoping to reach out to a retired systems teacher (or one with a bit of capacity for some extra work) to either fill in for the year or provide mentoring to a replacement teacher (they have a Math/Science trained teacher that may be able to assist).  Students that need guidance are for Systems Engineering 1-4.


If you can help - or you know of anyone else who might be able to provide assistance - please contact their Deputy Principal Ashwin Pillai at a.pillai at damascus.vic.edu.au, or let me know I'll pass your details on to the school.
