[Systems Engineering Teachers' Mailing List] Books on using metal lathe and milling machine

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone had any tips on titles of books or resources that would allow a student to get an understanding of the basic operations of these machines before I start any sort of training or them planning how they are going to manufacture a part. Something that has images, procedures etc. so that the student isn't coming in completely "cold" into the training process. I've had books in the past that I haven't been hugely impressed with and now that I want to buy new ones, I thought I'd go for the better ones for students.
