Full-time, fixed-term appointment until December 2018.

Two positions.

The Ballarat Tech School (BTS), hosted by Federation University Australia, is a collaborative learning facility providing Ballarat secondary students with access to high tech specialised learning programs in a purpose built facility that will commence operation in 2018.

BTS will be a stimulating and creative learning environment in which students are immersed in learning experiences to develop their capabilities and understanding of a changing world with links to; Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technology, Food and Fibre, Health Science and New Energies industries.

You will work closely with the Associate Director, to develop new program opportunities by establishing collaborative partnerships between BTS, partner schools and other key stakeholders. The ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of multi-disciplinary teams are key requirements of this position.

As the successful candidate, you will be experienced in developing and facilitating innovative secondary educational programs that are underpinned by contemporary education and STEM principles. BTS learning programs will be project based, focusing on discovery, innovation and learning by inquiry.

Salary $82,268 to $89,050 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

Appointments will normally be at the base of the salary range.
