Scotch College is a major independent college for 1850 boys P-12. The College is seeking a suitably qualified person to fill this full-time Permanent position commencing in September 2016.

We are seeking an Electronics Technician with mechanical aptitude and passion for developing technological skills in adolescents. In return, Scotch College offers a challenging environment with state of the art facilities providing extensive CNC capabilities, laser cutting and 3D printing.

Core duties include assisting staff in electronics classes, advise and assist development of electronics and design and technology curriculum, maintain tools and machines in workshops. Ordering and sourcing electronics supplies and equipment.

Essential skills & experience include: Certificate in Electronics with high level electronics skills, innovation in equipment repair & design, CAD CAM machinery and related software. A great team player and
the ability to work in classroom and autonomously in workshops.

Relevant external and on-site training will be provided to the right applicant.

This role is full time with six weeks' annual leave.

Applicants will be subjected to the relevant child protection screenings.
