H Ken,

You could try Freetronics. Good prices and service. They specialise in Arduino. It is run by Jonathan Oxler who wrote the "Practical Arduino" Book . If you are starting out you should get the book.

Subject: [Systems Engineering Teachers' Mailing List] Seeking advice on a good Arduino kit for use in Systems

Went to Top Designs on Monday.

Some fantastic projects and a lot of them seem to be using Arduino.

Being an old picaxe guy, I think I might be missing out so I am going to buy some Arduino kits for use in my systems class.

There seems to be a number of different prototype boards and kits available which is a little confusing to an Arduino novice. I see Wiltronics have them and they are even on ebay.

Can anyone suggest a good Arduino kit to start off with. Looking for value for money. Hopefully the kit will come will activities included. If you know any good Arduino websites, that would also be appreciated.

Hopefully someone out there can assist.
