2010 DATTA Vic Conference: 'Where logic meets imagination'


Friday 21 & Saturday 22 May 2010, Ashwood College.

This is an important request because:

 

DATTA VIC is the only group that represents your interests ( Otherwise the
subject may  be relegated to third division in the National curriculum).
DATTA Vic is the ideal group to ask serious questions concerning technology
education, teacher training, new resources, teacher PD etc.  They need your
support.

It is good opportunity to see some interesting resources ( we will be
presenting the new MDX-40A, MDX-540 mill and special software)

Ideal opportunity to hear about the DATTA Vic hire system for a Roland
MDX-40 to help you move your vision for technology into this century. This
is a great opportunity to receive training from us in the use of the machine
and have access to great software.

Ideal opportunity to drag your head of school to show that technology is not
just woodwork and metal work and using concepts from the 18th Century. The
head may be surprised that thinking and design skills, electronics, systems,
CAD/CAM are part of the new technology education vision. Maybe the head will
appreciate that you use computers for real activities rather than surfing
the net/playing games/goofing around on
Facebook/Twitter/Wasteoftime.net/thinkinIamimportantbecauseIhave
2000friends.com etc etc etc.

You have to promote the subject.

You can discuss training and support issues with me and other trade show
staff
