George, g'day, Roger Knight here. After meeting you at the VCAA PD last month I seem to have misplaced your contact details. Could you please send them on?

Cheers ... Roger

Subject: RE: [Systems Engineering Teachers' Mailing List] Circuit Wizard

Hi Rob,

I use Circuit Wizard.

If you want to move components after converting a circuit to PCB and get rid of the the green lines (Unrouted Nets).

go to VIEW menu
then DISPLAY
then untick UNROUTED NETS.

You should now be able to move components without any problems.

I do not know if this is any help, I get students to read and Interpret schematic diagrams and manually design PCB's.

There is a lot of learning that goes on with students doing this.

They use thinking processes that cover Vels and also the Designing of Circuits that will cover a lot of the Design aspects of VCE Systems Engineering.

If you can send me an after hours phone number, I can talk you through what I do with students using Circuit Wizard. (My typing is very slow)

Also if you want to change the size and shape of the pads on components from the Circuit Wizard gallery. (because Circuit Wizard gallery components tend to use smaller pads that do not suit some students skills)

Once you have the component artwork on the page SELECT the component and then right click mouse and select PADS from the menu and this will bring up a window to change shape and size of pads.

I hope this has helped. If you need any more help let me know.

Cheers George Spiridis
