Dear Systems Members
I have forwarded on this message from Adriana Agosta about the new site for Systems Engineering Teachers. You can post information, worksheets, ask questions or access information at the site for use in your class. Please visit the site and register some of your work. I think that it will prove to be very useful.

Hello Systems Group,

It is with great pleasure that I announce the addition of the Systems Engineering Group to EdNA.
I take this opportunity to congratulate Peter Ward on your behalf for all his efforts and know-how in setting up and realising
this initiative which I'm certain will benefit all Systems teachers.
If it is to be a successful resource, it needs to be supported by way of contributions.Peter has agreed to manage the site however, it remains the responsibility of ALL the individuals making up the Systems Engineering teacher group to provide submissions, share information/resources and maintain dialogue between the group members.
The thing that delights me most about this idea is, that it has come from YOU!
I remind you too, that the Syseng edulist is still available to you and that it remains separate to the EdNA facility.

Below is Peter's correspondence to me including the steps to register and access the site.
Please take the time to register. Should you encounter any problems regarding registration, contact Peter Ward
ward.peter at edumail.vic.gov.au

Best Wishes

Adriana

"These are the instructions I received from EdNA to send to our teachers to get them started...

Your group members will need to Register with edna Groups, and the best
way to do that is to direct them to http://www.groups.edna.edu.au <http://www.groups.edna.edu.au/> and
then to click on Register. They will be required to confirm that
registration by email.

Now I have the group ready for members, I have changed the
Availability setting to Public and now leave the invitation key to do
the work of keeping the group private.

Once they have registered and the group is made available to them, they
will be able to access it by going to
http://www.groups.edna.edu.au/course/view.php?id=1469 <http://www.groups.edna.edu.au/course/view.php?id=1469> and inputting the
invitation key.

The invitation key is VSET

We expect all Group members to comply with netiquette as defined in our

Dear Adriana,

I have spent some time getting the EdNA Group set up with the help of Kerrie Smith from EdNA. Its a bit of a learning curve but I think I have it sorted out. I have tried to make it operate as simple as possible. As recommended by Kerrie, I have set up a forum for sharing resources, called Systems Engineering Share Point. Users will need to click on this forum to read any posts and make their contributions. I have put in an initial post to welcome everybody. I have used your name and title along with mine as I thought it appropriate for this welcome post as it was our combined effort to get the share point working.

These are the instructions I received from EdNA to send to our teachers to get them started...
