[Studioarts] Bendigo Art Gallery Studio Arts Exam Revision workshop

This program will provide students with revision of Unit 3-4 Studio Arts Outcome 3 content in preparation for the end of year examination. Scholarships are available to enable regional, rural or disadvantaged students to attend at the reduced price of $10. (see scholarship application form for more information)

What will be covered?

What to expect in a Studio Arts exam: Learn about exam structure and time management. Learn about the importance of correct application of terminology and how to use it to get maximum marks.

Unseen artworks - how to extend your writing and impress the examiners.

Conservation: revise and view examples of materials such as thermohygrographs, gloves, solander boxes and light meters. Revise points on lighting, humidity, storage and pest control. View the new storage areas behind the scenes of the exhibition spaces.

Exhibition design: view a range of exhibitions including Undressed: 350 years of Underwear in Fashion and The Body Beautiful in Ancient Greece as case studies for exhibitions in different gallery spaces.
