Time travel with ASD - this year's 24-hr  Capture the Flag (CTF) [https://asdctftwentyfour.ctfd.io/] is open to all Australian students with curious and creative minds.

Test your problem-solving skills by solving challenges and puzzles created by staff from the  Australian Signals Directorate [http://asd.gov.au/]. Just like careers at ASD, the topics are varied and include:

Cryptography LanguagesProgrammingOpen Source IntelligenceComputer SecurityPuzzlesAnd more!

New to CTFs? No problem! No previous skills are required, you can pick them up along the way.

This competition is a great way to learn about the work and interests of ASD and win great prizes, too! You can play online- all you need is an internet connection.

To play, you must register your team (up to 6 people) via the  CTF website [https://asdctftwentyfour.ctfd.io/] using an email address ending with 'edu.au'.

Game On! in-person and online: Thursday 18 July 12pm(AEST)/10am(AWST) until Friday 19 July, 12pm(AEST)/10am(AWST)

In-person activities in Canberra, Brisbane & Melbourne will run from 11:30am Thursday until 2:30pm Friday (AEST), while the activities in Perth will run from 9:30am-3:30pm Thursday and 9:00am-12:30pm Friday (AWST).

Proof of citizenship (e.g. current passport) will be required on arrival.

Important: You must register for the competition separately on the CTF website in addition to registering your attendance at these in-person events.
