Hi Brett

No I have used the 2017 Visual studio with Xamarian and it enable you to create a UI using the tool box in Visual Studio and then code using C# or C++. It has been a few years due to covid that I have gone back to app programming. Unfortunately with VS 2019 they changed the way to work but you can still hook an iphone to the computer and modify directly on the phone but that is against school rules due to phone usage.

Hi Vera

I’m guessing you are using VS on a Mac if you are developing for IOS. I used to use Xcode.
Have used xamarin on windows for android apps with C# but stopped as running the emulator was too memory intensive for student laptop. Final straw was that it had to run under admin privileges and there was no work around.

Please does anyone use the ios iphone xamarian feature in Visual studio 2017 we have new IT staff and no one seems to be able to get it functioning.
