I used Gantter... it’s not free but offers a 30 day trial, once students have completed their chart they can export as an MS Project or CSV so hopefully when we are back at school they can use the file with MS Project.

Today I was faced with coming up with an alternative to MS Project for the SAT Gantt Chart.

The free online Gantt Chart apps I was going to rely on are now FORMALLY free online Gantt Chart apps... so I decided to use Excel templates. The MS Agile Gantt Chart  template is...OK... but it doesn't appear to have a feature to include dependencies.

Any suggestions?
