[Year 12 SofDev] Curious Question

Hi all,

I picked wired as there is generally less software setup to get the network running, especially if you use a switch that has built in DHCP whereas wireless will require you to also set up the access point. I feel the answer really depends on the size, scale and purpose of the network and am just trying to provoke some discussion.

And Yay edulists is working on edumail again.

Cheers,

Ben.

Hi Benjamin,

Last year actually covered for you one day as a CRT.

To answer your question I would have to say wireless for the obvious reason that you don't need to worry about cabling and the software considerations would be similar. Why did you choose wired?

Best Regards,

Hi all,

If a student asked you which was easier to setup a wired network or a wireless network what would your answer be?

I chose wired
