[Year 12 SofDev] Python SAT Ideas

Hi
I used Python for the first time this year at Year 12 level.
I kept to a simple grid format for the GUI, and having 2 or more GUI screens.
For a basic SAT students had:
One for data entry and storage; and one for sort/search display analysis of data.
Editing is not hard to do but most students do not include it - takes time.
File storage as CSV - easy to save and retrieve and to set up test data in a spreadsheet.
Regards
Mike
PS looking forward to getting into PySimpleGui in a couple of weeks - thanks Tony.

Damien, I would like this as well
I have used Python in Year 11 with tkinter after transitioning from VB.NET used in 2017 (No SD class this year)
Started playing with PySimpleGUI recently as I wanted an easier, better way to use GUIs (see earlier e-mail with some win/mac samples).
I am happier now with GUI options.
Would love to see lists of the 'need or opportunities' that students have done using python this year.
Tony

Subject: [Year 12 SofDev] Python SAT Ideas
Hi folks,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am in the process of transitioning from VB.NET this year to Python for next year. Whilst I am quite enjoying the challenge, I am constantly trying to think of things that are worth doing for student SATs. Obviously not to say this is what you must do, but more to give them some ideas and to guide them into what is/isn't achievable.
Am wondering if anyone out there who had students use Python this year would be willing to share some ideas and issues they encountered.
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Damien
