[Year 12 SofDev] Diagrams in the SRS - of which system?

Hi All,
I'm on the same side as James and Phil.
This one has always been a bit of a chestnut. But my take on it is to simplify it down.
These diagrams are analysis tools, therefore they are analysing what's there at the moment. The purpose of a SRS is to have a clear understanding of what is happening and have shared clear language between the client and the Analysts moving into developing a solution for the existing issue (i.e. Guiding the rest of the phases of the PSM).

Dear All
I have to agree with James. We are talking about the existing system for analysis. Students will draw the required diagrams and the do the SRS.
Kind Regards
Phil Feain.
