[Year 12 SofDev] Driverless Cars - NSW Bill passed

Eastlink have trialled driverless cars on a number of occasions. Does that mean Victoria has already passed similar legislation, or was it not necessary in Victoria? Mind you, the trials conducted so far were not Level 5 automation.

Quite a nice summary of the bill passed by the NSW Government which may be of interest to your students and possibly spark a bit of debate to the legal issues behind autonomous vehicles, we had a bit of a chat today about who might be to blame if a driverless car crashes as well as could a driver be deemed more culpable if they are driving a car that could potentially be driverless but choose to drive.
