Hi Mark and colleagues
The assessment of the project plan is one task within U4O1. When assessing this task you will basically look for two lots of evidence:
· Adjustments made to the plan during the course of the project
· A statement about how the plan assisted in the monitoring of the project.
The third sentence in the Administrative Information (page 4, ‘In addition to acknowledging adjustments, students must explain the usefulness …) is explanatory of the first two sentences – it is not an additional requirement. The reason for its inclusion was to emphasise that students need to address the usefulness of the plan for each stage of the PSM but unfortunately it has caused confusion. I will get the sentence corrected.
Regards
Paula

So, no-one can tell the difference between the two tasks?
Good luck assessing it, then.
I'm glad it won't be me doing it.
The SD SAT admin info's instructions for the assessment of the project plan roughly says (p.4):
Students explain how their plan assisted in monitoring the progress of the project.
Students explain the usefulness of the plan in monitoring their progress through the stages of the PSM
Can anyone please tell me the difference between these two tasks?
They look the same to me.
Mark
