[Year 12 SofDev] Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2012

Hi All,

Unit 4 Outcome 2 for Software Development does not mention the Health Records Act (2001) in the list of key legislation, even though it's listed in the glossary. Is this an omission, or is it not needed for SD? Does anybody know?

Hi everyone,

Hope you are having a good break! This one is a bit of a head scratcher - and it may just be because I've been head down in the legals for the new study design and my head is swimming a bit!!  I can't however find any reference to this legislation?  Yes - there is the Vic Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilites Act 2006 (which was in the previous study design - and is also *strangely* mentioned in the glossary). But in Unit 4, Outcome 2, it lists this one and not the 2006 one.

There is some inconsistency between the glossary and the KK point in Unit 4, Outcome 2 - so I am going with the KK point as being THE definitive statement....

Any advice or help appreciated!
