I used MIT App Inventor but our network will not allow students access using their phone. There is an emulator on the website but students don't get a buzz by using the emulator.

Subject: [Year 12 SofDev] Android App Development
Hi,
I want to introduce Android Apps development to my Year-10 class. I trialled Android Apps development using Android Studio. After a few hiccups, I was able to get the Android Studio up & running on my computer. However, when I trialled it on school computer in the school network, it is not working.
If anyone is currently teaching Android Application Development, could you share with me what software you are using.
