[Year 12 SofDev] Data analytics

Dear colleagues

In this morning's Age (page 13 of printed version) is an article on the growing area of data analytics, and the consequential growth of tertiary courses in the field. The reaccredited study design, to be implemented in 2016, has a strong focus on this topic, particularly at units 3 and 4 Informatics (IT apps). This might be a selling point for some students who see a career path in this field.
