I have been asked to circulate this free event on AGILE to teachers and students. It is open to all secondary and tertiary students and teachers/lecturers and is being run at the Melbourne Convention Centre on June 18. I've been advised that they are able to accommodate up to 1000 participants. Activate Agile is a free event for full time students interested in pursuing a career in technology and their teachers and lecturers to gain more knowledge about how technology teams work in great companies.

Activate Agile (www.agileaustralia.com.au/activate/<http://www.agileaustralia.com.au/activate/> ) will be held on Wednesday 18 June 2014, from 1:45pm-4:45pm at the Melbourne Convention Centre. It is an event running alongside the national industry conference Agile Australia 2014.

You will get to hear:
- How tech teams work at great companies
- What it’s like inside real tech jobs: Dive under the lid of the different roles and learn about pairing, stand-ups, sprints, the role of customers and iterations.
- What’s hot for tomorrow’s tech: See the technologies and approaches of the future

Students and teachers will hear from industry leaders including:
