Dear colleagues

I'm posting the following message on behalf of Digital learning and teaching Victoria.


VCE IT / VCE VET ICT & VCE VET IDM Forum - Follow Up Online Discussions

These are follow up sessions from our successful forum day. They are free to all those who attended the VCE IT / VCE VET ICT & VCE VET IDM Forum on 28.02.2014. DLTV financial members may also attend for free. There is no limit as to how many sessions you attend.
If you are not a DLTV member, you or your school can join online at  http://www.dltv.vic.edu.au/membership.

These sessions are discussions about the themes that were presented at the forum. Members can discuss these ideas with presenters in the context of the what has happened back in their schools and find out how to be on track in Term 2.

These sessions will use Blackboard Collaborate. Please do all these things before the day of the session you are enrolled in.

* You will need a computer connected to internet, and a headset with microphone to fully participate in the sessions.
* Please test the computer that you will be using for this session from the location that you will be participating.

After you register we will check that  you are VCE / VET forum participant from the 28.02.2014 and / or a DLTV member and then send you the link to the login for the webinar. Webinar rooms are open 30 minutes before the advertised time

Links with industry are important in teaching Web Design, Marketing, Film Making, Desktop publishing, Digital Publishing, App Development and the Design Industries. This session provides information on the latest Adobe tools and how they are currently being used by creative professionals so that IDM teachers can help better prepare their students for a potential place in a creative work place.  This is a Q & A session to support IDM teachers in Term 2.

OL203 VCE Units 1 & 2  Follow Up Online Discussion.  [Tuesday 6/5  3:45 - 4:45 p.m.]

The Units 1 & 2 sessions during the Forum on February 28 were about approaches to developing coherent teaching, learning and assessment plans and learning activities and resources for each outcome, including methods for developing assessment tasks which fulfil the VCAA requirements. This session catches up with participants - how well have they implemented any of the shared knowledge. Are there any questions?
