[Year 12 SofDev] Visual Studio 2013 and F#

Hi folks,
            Not sure if anyone asked about F# before, I've just downloaded the new MS Visual Studio to have a play with over the holidays, one of the features it's touting is the way it links in with F#. I've had a very quick look at some of the doco and it seems pretty cool, especially the fact it's output is cross platform and cross device. It seems to be object orientated, and they're saying it's a good learning language.
Has anyone else had a look at F# ?
It's not currently in the approved languages list, but if you think it has merit, do we want to request to have it included after 2015?
