Hi all,

Hope you are having a lovely break.. for those who have started planning and have used my SRS template (or those that are new and would like to use it) I have attached my updated SRS template - anything in red is new to this version.

You will notice in the 'constraints' section I have used strikethrough for the list of possible constraints (i.e. leave them in or delete them your choice) I found that by listing them kids tried to provide a response to each, rather than addressing what was the constraint(s) alluded to in the design brief. Also not having them forces students to actually 'think' about what is a constraint rather than 'leading' them to an appropriate response.

yep its early I know.

Thought I'd post this standards document as a tool for those who, like myself, do bits and pieces of prep during the breaks. This is the IEEE standard for SRS documents and is a useful reference for our OC1 prep.

Newbies might like this.
