This looks like a great implementation of the original "Cargo" game on the BBC micro.

Here's another great 'intro to programming' on-line game, with a short instruction sheet (attached)

I just found a really cool app to introduce programming and logic structures for the iPad. Cargo-Bot. It's free on the app store, and I hate to admit, very addictive. If you're an iPad school or even able to use one on a projector.
