[Year 12 SofDev] Access to resources in U3O2?

I think you hit it in your last statement. Because I can't preferentially turn off internet access I let my students use their notes, previous work and the Internet. I see the SACs as demonstrations of understanding. If they don't "get it" the snippets of code they find will be useless to them; and vice versa. The student ranking function of the SAC is not impaired and it more accurately reflects real-world practice.

Hey, I’m wondering what people generally do with access to resources during the programming SAC’s in SD. I’m new to SD and I’m not sure whether to give students access to the code they have used in their programming task we’ve been working on during this whole Unit 3?

In my opinion students that try to just copy paste code (not understanding what it does) won’t be able to produce the correct working prototype anyway.

Any thoughts?
