[Year 12 SofDev] Testing Table/Data in SD

OK that makes more sense. I know a lot of my students struggle with wanting to know if they have done enough testing. Going through the method of testing the boundary conditions using appropriate test data, on the functional requirements should be sufficient.

HI Ben, the testing should include all the functional requirements of the SRS given to the students . Eg if it is a payroll, it should test all pay calculations gross, tax, net, super etc as well as testing the saving to file.
Could also test other program features such as a Clear button.

Hi List,

I'm wondering how you go about teaching your students how to use a Testing table in SD as opposed to what I do in IT Apps. Also if you don't need to code the validation in U3O2 doesn't that mean that the testing table will be full of lot of data that should crash the prototype program? (At least that's what comes to my mind).

Also Wondering if anyone has a marking sheet for U3 O2? Also how long do you guys give to your students to complete U3 O2?
