Like the others, I agree with their ideas about the basic level of validation needed.

To give my students a reasonable understanding about implementing validation in VB.Net, I put together a resource on validation in VB.Net which I've included. This is mainly based from content from a free eBook from MS (Writing Secure Code, Second Edition by Howard and LeBlanc).

Hope it's of some uses

Hey Guys,

I'm just wondering to what level do the students need to implement validation into their programs for U4O1 in SD?

I'm using VB.net as my programming language, and have done basic existence checking with the students so far (even some type checking - at least making sure that the input is a number - IsNumeric)

How much further do I need to go with the students?
